Drexel Libraries The Library was among the first academic departments formed in 1891 to establish the Drexel Institute of Arts, Science and Industry – later to become Drexel University. Today, the University has multiple library locations across its campuses, as well as in cyberspace. Here, expert librarians provide Drexel students, faculty, and staff, as well as global scholars and local community residents, access to the University’s authoritative information resources and research data in support of research, teaching and life-long learning.
