I have lived in many different places, but nothing captures my heart like The City of Brotherly Love. From its impact on music (American Bandstand and Philadelphia Soul) to our rich diversity of food, Philly is a revolutionary town. I enjoy hiking our stunning national parks, cooking, board games, and, of course, assisting students in discovering if Drexel is the place for them.

- Place on Campus:
- Bossone Research Enterprise Center — how many universities in the world can say they host an academic building designed by I.M. Pei?!
- Restaurant/Food Truck:
- Only a short walk from campus, Hadramout Restaurant is the place for Yemeni food in Philly. Try the foul for a delicious vegetarian option, and if you're a carnivore, do not miss the lamb haneeth!
- Philadelphia Landmark/Location:
- Philadelphia Magic Gardens (PMG) — Isaiah Zagar is a mosaic artist and a local treasure, turning trash into beautiful art. I love to bring my coffee and a book to PMG, or sometimes watch the faces of newcomers as they go through the main exhibit for the first time ... oh and students receive discounted entrance!
