On May 21, 2021, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) designated Haiti for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) starting May 21st for 18 months.

Effective May 12, 2021 the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russia will reduce consular services offered to include only emergency U.S. citizen services and a very limited number of age-out and life-or-death emergency immigrant visas.

Effective May 4, 2021, foreign nationals who have been physically present in India within 14 days of travel to the United States will not be permitted entry, unless they qualify for an exception.
