Dismissal From the Co-op Program
In addition to being blocked from utilizing the Steinbright Career Development Center's resources, including its SCDCOnline job search system, students may be dismissed from Drexel University's cooperative education program for the following reasons, which are not exclusive, but at the discretion of the Executive Director.
- Two-time failure of COOP 101
- Two-time co-op termination
- Egregiously unacceptable interactions with co-op employers, including during the recruitment/interview process and co-op employment.
Students who have been dismissed from the university's cooperative education program may be required to change majors or co-op concentrations if co-op requirements cannot and will not be fulfilled to satisfy their current program enrollment.
