“DIVERSITY IN DRUG DISCOVERY AND DEVELOPMENT” FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The “4D” Fellowship is a joint effort between Janssen Oncology and Drexel’s Pharmacology and Physiology Department to encourage diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the field of scientific research and drug discovery. The fellowship program is specifically designed to support underrepresented minority students as they complete coursework, conduct research, and prepare for a career in drug discovery and development. The fellowship will offer tuition coverage and a stipend for living expenses, and fellows will have the opportunity to conduct research at Janssen. Learn more.

  • Underrepresented minority student (defined by NIH guidelines)
  • Accepted into a full-time or online graduate degree program majoring in Drug Discovery and Development or Pharmacology and Physiology

Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Master's Scholarship

The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Drexel University College of Medicine awards scholarships to help defray tuition expense. This scholarship is open to incoming master’s students in eligible, department-affiliated programs. It is designed for those who have exhibited exceptional academic performance. A GPA of 3.3 or above is required for consideration. Learn more.


Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Master's Scholarship for Students Underrepresented in Science

To demonstrate our commitment to the values of diversity and inclusion, the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Drexel University College of Medicine awards scholarships to help defray tuition expense. Scholarship for Underrepresented Minorities – MS Neuroscience Program

To demonstrate our commitment to the values of diversity and inclusion, the Department of Neurobiology & Anatomy has allocated $60,000 in supplemental scholarships for Master of Science in Neuroscience program applicants who identify as an underrepresented population in biomedical research. Open to incoming master’s students, this scholarship will be awarded to two students each year to cover half the tuition for two years. Learn more.

GRADUATE COLLEGE DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS (BLUE & GOLD)

Each year, the Graduate College offers, for open competition, a limited number of Graduate College Doctoral Fellowships that are designed to encourage the recruitment of highly qualified students for all of Drexel’s PhD and doctoral-level programs. Learn more.
