Yoga for Healing (15 Wellness Incentive Program Points)*
Wednesday, April 18, 2018
5:30 PM-6:30 PM
This trauma-informed yoga class offers
a safe and healing space for yogis of all levels and is designed to avoid
practices that could be triggering or re-traumatizing. The class will
focus on breath, meditation and movement, beginning with a slow flow and ending
with longer holds of more restorative postures.
Please wear loose, comfortable
clothing that you can move easily in. A limited number of yoga mats will be
available, but please bring your own if you can!
This class will be led by Lindsay
O’Brien. Lindsay is a Deputy Title IX Coordinator in Drexel’s Office of Equality
and Diversity and a 500 Hour Certified Yoga Teacher. Lindsay is certified
to teach Baptiste Power Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Trauma-Informed Yoga and
teaches regularly at Yoga Habit in Fairmount.
This event is open to all faculty and
staff. You must register in Career Pathway in order to attend.
