This brown bag lunch seminar is intended as a resource to any Drexel faculty, staff, students, residents or clinicians interested in understanding the process of obtaining a patent and what patents cover – including recent Supreme Court decisions affecting patentability of certain types of biological materials and biological observations. How universities such as Drexel pursue the commercialization of patented technologies will also be discussed.
