Darryl D. Baker, Jr. serves as an AI Research Manager in the Engineering & Technology (E&T) AI/ML Talent Center at Lockheed Martin Space. In this role he leads an artificial intelligence R&D portfolio that focuses on image processing, pattern recognition and forecasting, and planning optimization technologies. He also champions university outreach and workforce development initiatives to build the next generation of engineers at Lockheed Martin.
Prior to his current position, he held multiple technical and leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, including Systems Engineer, Modeling & Simulation Analyst, and Project Manager, where he delivered complex engineering solutions and managed critical program milestones.
