2025 Reorientation (2Ls, 3Ls, and AJDs)

A mandatory reorientation session will take place on Friday, September 5, 2025 for rising 2Ls, 3Ls, and AJDs. This is the second Friday of the fall semester (the first Friday is the Friday of Labor Day weekend). Please refer to the appropriate section below for your detailed schedule, location, and session information.

*During the ice cream social, we will have “resources open availability” throughout the Law School building to help answer any questions and needs (including financial aid planning, AccessLex, pro bono, OSA, DiveIN, wellness, bar exam, library, Westlaw, Lexis, study aids, law tech, CSO and others).

Reorientation Schedule for 2Ls and AJDs who began this summer:

Location: Room 031 of Gerri C. LeBow Hall, 3220 Market St.

Note: Con Law, AJD Property, Food and Drug Law, and Dean’s Scholar’s sessions will not meet on this date to allow attendance.

• 9:15 a.m.: Check in
• 9:30 a.m.: Intro and welcome: What’s the purpose of “reorientation”?
• 9:45 a.m.: Alumni/Faculty Q&A panel
• 11:30 a.m.: CSO: What to do as a 2L
• 12:00 p.m.: Academic Skills and Library Study Resources
• 12:30–1:30 p.m.: Lunch
• 1:30 p.m.: Everything (else) a 2L needs to know for the year
• 2:15 p.m.: Bar exam: What to do as a 2L, including MPRE
• 3:00–4:30 p.m.: Ice cream social with faculty and staff in Law School Building

Reorientation Schedule for 3Ls, including AJDs with one year remaining:

Location: Room 120 of Papadakis Integrated Sciences Building (PISB), 3245 Chestnut St.

Note: Upper-level classes and Dean’s Scholar’s sessions will not meet on this date to allow attendance.

• 8:45 a.m.: Check in
• 9:00 a.m.: Diagnostic Bar Exam
• 12:00 p.m.: Lunch
• 1:00 p.m.: Debrief and review of diagnostic bar exam
• 2:15 p.m.: Law School AI policy
• 2:30 p.m.: 3L “top ten” checklist
• 3:00 –4:30 p.m.: Ice cream social with faculty and staff in Law School Building
