About the Series: The Office of Graduate Studies presents the annual Financial Literacy Series for graduate and professional students and postdoctoral fellows. The series offers information and advice on personal financial management from a variety of industry experts. It is meant to promote financial wellness for students and postdocs, especially those preparing to graduate and move on to careers in academia or industry.
Workshop Description: Stocks, bonds, and funds OH MY! Learn the basics of investing, employee benefits and how to start planning for retirement. This session is geared toward graduating students who are headed for the workforce (now or in the future)!
About the Speaker: Michael Clancy is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) who is the Director of Financial Planning for the College of Medicine.
