This workshop will help undergraduate students learn about writing personal statements and obtaining letters of recommendation for scholarships, fellowships, graduate school applications, and more. Learn tips and best practices for writing a personal statement, what information to gather when preparing to write, and how to navigate some of the challenges of telling your story and writing about yourself. We'll also discuss how to develop strong relationships, receive tips on asking for letters, and consider how to prepare their recommenders to write them great letters.
