Virtual: Careers Beyond the Bench

Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Professional Studies (GSBSPS) is partnering with Biomedical Sciences Graduate Student Association (BSGSA), Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, and Drexel Biomedical Graduate Association (DBGA) to bring back Careers Beyond the Bench, a professional development conference. The conference will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, February 23-24, in a virtual format from 1-6 pm. In addition, on Friday, February 25, we will offer in-person meetups with local professionals.

Careers Beyond the Bench, a professional development conference, will feature accomplished speakers and panelists discussing non-academic career options for graduate students and postdocs. Attendees will learn about careers in the private sector as well as training strategies and career planning tools. We will offer panel discussions on Medical and Science Communications, Management Consulting, Medical Science Liaison, and Postdoc in Industry. Additionally, we offer workshops on exploring careers during graduate school, work-life integration and productivity, building a personal brand, and more.
