ScribeAmerica, LLC

Wednesday, March 14, 2018

11:00 AM-1:00 PM

The US Hospital Emergency Medical System is struggling in its attempt to provide cost effective, quality care. Annual increases in ED census and documentation requirements have exposed the documenting inefficiencies of the conventional unassisted ED physician. The electronic medical record has exacerbated the physician's struggles resulting in decreasing financial reimbursements and increasing legal liabilities. ScribeAmerica's goal is to assist the physician by training scribes in how to intelligently share the provider's burden of data gathering and EMR documentation. In doing so, the physician's individual productivity and patient throughput increase, so that goal of providing cost effective, quality medical care is achieved.
