Welcome Week
Your time with us will begin with Welcome Week, Drexel's new student orientation event, with classes officially beginning the following Monday. This celebratory and informative event will give all New Dragons, including both first-year and transfer students, the opportunity to be together for a full week before diving into classes.
Welcome Week provides you with hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of events and activities to choose from to help you settle into your new home here at Drexel. While we follow health and safety recommendations, you will still have the chance to meet faculty, professional staff, and current students during the orientation, as well as learn the ins and outs of Drexel and the city of Philadelphia. We look forward to seeing you in September!
Welcome Week festivities will begin with our Move-In, when students living in the residence halls will start to move in and set up their rooms. Then, there will be a full schedule of both virtual and in-person activities over the course of the following week designed to introduce everyone to the campus, fellow classmates, and the city of Philadelphia.
Move-In
We'll have knowledgeable current students, faculty, and professional staff here to greet and welcome you, so we know you'll feel at home from the first moment you arrive!
First-Year Residential Students
Your Welcome Week activities will begin with our Move-In. Resident first-year students will start moving in on those days, with a few exceptions for special programs and accommodating social distancing measures.
Non-Residential Students
Move-In will consist of events for non-residential students to kick off their Welcome Week Programming.
