Environmental Compliance
Environmental compliance program provides safety and compliance guidelines, services and resources to the students, faculty and staff of Drexel University. These programs are designed to reduce the environmental impact of hazardous waste, asbestos, pesticides, lead, chemicals, biologicals, radioactive materials and other pollutants on the campus environment.
The University’s key environmental compliance programs are as follows:
- Hazardous waste management
- Asbestos Management
- Lead-Based Paint (LBP) management
- Pesticide management (FIFRA)
- Spill prevention control and countermeasures program (SPCC)
- Underground/above ground storage tank program
- Clean air program
