Traffic Advisory: Market Street Projects
Market Street Bridges: PennDOT is undertaking a four-year project to rehabilitate the Market Street bridges near Drexel University’s campus. Periodic weekday lane closures are expected along Market Street during early construction, causing extra traffic and delays in the area, including on the Drexel bus service’s Dragon Route. For complete information on the project, including planned closures and detours, visit PennDOT’s Market Street Bridges Rehabilitation and Improvement Project website.
PECO Utility Work: PECO will be conducting utility work along Market Street between 30th Street and JFK Boulevard starting July 7 and lasting approximately two months. Use caution and follow posted signage regarding any detours in the area.
