Traffic Advisory: Market Street Projects
- Market Street Bridge Closure:
- The Market Street bridge over the Schuylkill River is closed to vehicular traffic until October 2027 due to PennDOT's multi-year Market Street Bridges Rehabilitation and Improvement Project.
- The Dragon Route schedule has been adjusted to account for the extra traffic associated with the bridge closure.
- SEPTA 34th Street Station Improvements: Traffic control and lane restrictions on Market Street near the 34th Street subway station are expected through spring 2027.
Drexel University offers free shuttle bus service across its three Philadelphia campuses, as well as temporary transportation assistance for students, faculty and professional staff with mobility disabilities. Drexel also provides charter services to departments and recognized student organizations (submit a Transportation Request Form [PDF] for charter services at least one week in advance of the date needed).

Drexel Transit, powered by the TripShot app, offers trip planning and the ability to commute with predictability through real-time notifications, alerts and Drexel shuttle tracking. To start using TripShot:
- Download the app: iOS | Android
- On the Setup screen, enter “Drexel” as the Service Name and click Next.
- Select “Log in with Drexel Connect” and sign in with your Drexel user ID and password (the same credentials you use to access the DrexelOne portal).
