SEPTA Service Cuts Expected
SEPTA is planning to implement service cuts and fare increases beginning on Aug. 24, 2025, if funding is not secured to close its budget gap. For up-to-date information on SEPTA routes, schedules and fares, please consult septa.org and the SEPTA mobile app.Traffic Advisory: Market Street Projects
Due to PennDOT’s four-year Market Street Bridges Rehabilitation Project, lane closures are expected along Market Street in University City, causing extra traffic and delays in the area, including on the Drexel bus service’s Dragon Route. For complete information, visit PennDOT's project website. In addition, PECO is conducting utility work along Market Street between 30th Street and JFK Boulevard during the summer months. Use caution and follow posted signage about any detours in the area.
Drexel University offers free shuttle bus service across its three Philadelphia campuses, as well as temporary transportation assistance for students, faculty and professional staff with mobility disabilities. Drexel also provides charter services to departments and recognized student organizations (submit a Transportation Request Form [PDF] for charter services at least one week in advance of the date needed).
