Traffic Advisory: Market Street Bridges Project
PennDOT is beginning an anticipated four-year project to rehabilitate the Market Street bridges near Drexel University’s campus. Periodic weekday lane closures are expected along Market Street during early construction activities, causing extra traffic and delays in the area, including on the Drexel bus service’s Dragon Route – Center City Loop. Drexel University offers free shuttle bus service across its three Philadelphia campuses, as well as temporary transportation assistance for students, faculty and professional staff with mobility disabilities. Drexel also provides charter services to departments and recognized student organizations (submit a Transportation Request Form [PDF] for charter services at least one week in advance of the date needed).
