Change of Major Guidelines

This webpage is intended to provide guidance to students on the change of major process and policy into and out of the College of Engineering. If you are a current College of Engineering student looking to major outside the College of Engineering, please navigate below for information relevant to you.

Drexel University policy states that students must have a least a 2.0 cumulative GPA in order to change their major; however, the College of Engineering has specific criteria outlined below that students must meet in order to determine preparedness and fit with the major of choice. If you are interested in a COE major, but do not currently meet the criteria, please reach out to the Director of Advising, Emily Bogunovich, who can advise students as they transition into one of the College’s major programs.
