Tutoring and Academic Support

Tutoring and Academic Support

The Academic Center for Engineers (ACE) is an undergraduate peer tutoring center that supports students taking engineering, biomedical engineering, and foundational STEM courses. ACE welcomes any student enrolled in a supported course, regardless of their home college or school. Our appointment-based, one-on-one tutoring model emphasizes 100 and 200-level courses while extending to select upper-level classes where enrollment and student impact warrant broader coverage. Through individualized, peer-led tutoring, ACE equips students with the confidence, skills, and habits needed to thrive throughout their academic journey.

ACE also supports the growth of its tutors. The peer-tutoring environment allows tutors to deepen their understanding of course material, strengthen their communication skills, learn how to support a wide range of learners, and build experience that translates well into both academic and professional settings.
