The College of Engineering is updating our plans to offer summer institutes for high school students. Please check back here as information becomes available.
These week-long institutes provide aspiring engineers with a hands-on summer experience.
- The Materials Science and Engineering Summer Institute gives aspiring scientists and engineers the chance to learn about how atomic elements arrange themselves to form the materials that are all around us.
- The Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Summer Institute will explore designing and maintaining infrastructure projects, designing buildings that work, and designing systems, processes, and policies enabling people to co-exist more sustainably with the environment.
- The Electrical and Computer Engineering Summer Institute will give aspiring engineers the chance to learn about how fundamental disciplines within ECE, such as signal processing, computer hardware and software, circuits, and algorithms, contribute to the technology that powers our world, from cell phones to autonomous vehicles.
