Abieyuwa Aghayere studies the design and performance of concrete, steel, and wood structures. His work includes structural failure analysis, assessment and rehabilitation of existing buildings, and the development of safer structural systems and design practices.

Ivan Bartoli

Ivan Bartoli develops methods for evaluating the condition and performance of bridges, buildings, pipelines, and other infrastructure without damaging them. His research uses sensing, structural dynamics, nondestructive evaluation, and stress-wave propagation to identify deterioration and support infrastructure management.

Shannon Capps

Shannon Capps develops computational models that connect pollutant emissions with outdoor air quality and their effects on human health, ecosystems, and climate. Her group also uses satellite observations, data assimilation, sensitivity analysis, and inverse modeling to improve atmospheric predictions.

Amir Farnam develops advanced and sustainable materials for more durable and resilient infrastructure.
