Maternal and Child Health (MCH) students Lorena Melendez-Chavez and Sarah Dilday were interviewed for Dornsife's Student and Alumni Stories blog about their experience completing Title V MCH Block Grant internships over the summer.

The Title V program is a partnership between the federal government and states that promotes the health and wellbeing of mothers, children, and families.

Melendez-Chavez worked with the Vermont Department of Health and developed a qualitative data collection plan to obtain feedback from participants about WIC services.

Dilday worked with the Florida Department of Health and created a communications plan for the electronic version of a state-wide prenatal risk screening system.
