Drexel Can’t Wait To Welcome Our New Dragons

Congratulations on your acceptance to Drexel! You have demonstrated that your ambition can't wait and the Undergraduate Admissions office is thrilled to welcome you to the Dragon community. We are pleased to share that we are now offering in-person campus tours for admitted students as well as in-person meetings with an admissions representative to answer your questions. Drexel's admissions staff recognizes that it can be a challenge to get to campus, especially in the time of COVID-19, and we are excited to share with you our virtual admitted students events being offered this spring! Admitted Students Events consist of Admitted Students Days and weekday Academic Deep Dives.

Weekend Admitted Students Days are comprehensive events taking place on the weekend in an effort to accommodate your busy schedule. These virtual events will provide students and families with the opportunity to hear from current Drexel students, senior leadership, and faculty in the school that you have been admitted to. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in topical breakout sessions and interactive panel discussions and get a sense of what it is like to be a Drexel student. By now, you are well versed in Drexel's unique opportunities and these Admitted Students Days will allow you to get even more acquainted by attending co-op and research showcases! Regardless of which Weekend Admitted Students Day you attend, you will also have the chance to hear from someone who has lived the experience (a Drexel alum!), speak with a member of the Financial Aid office, take a virtual tour and — for parents and families — attend a Parent Next Steps session.

Admitted Students Events consist of Admitted Students Days and weekday Academic Deep Dives.

Academic Deep Dives take place on weekdays and are discipline-focused presentations that will provide an intimate look into the academic community. These events are scheduled for the late afternoon and early evening hours. To see when Weekend Admitted Students Days and Academic Deep Dives for your college are taking place, visit our webpage and select your college/school from the "View Events By College" dropdown menu. Please register for an Admitted Student Day and Academic Deep Dive to obtain an all-encompassing experience. By attending both events, it is our hope that you will gain further understanding of the University, get to know Philadelphia on a deeper level, and connect with future classmates and friends.

These opportunities include New Dragon Days, Virtual Admitted Student Receptions, and much more! New Dragon Days are a great way to connect with other admitted students in your major, experience virtual tours of campus and residence halls, and attend academic sessions. Admitted Student Receptions allow for the opportunity to connect with fellow new Dragons in your region and meet new friends for life!
