About Me
I grew up on both sides of the Delaware River, splitting time between central Jersey and Yardley, PA. College brought me to Philadelphia, where I studied music education, leading to over six years as an elementary music teacher. As both an ocean lover and musician, you’ll often find me exploring the coastline or taking in performances at Philly’s many arts venues. I’m proud to be part of Drexel University, an institution deeply connected to this incredible city.
What advice would you give to a high school student applying to college?
"Location, location, location." When choosing a college, truly consider where it’s located. Does the area support your passions and career interests? Will it push you outside of your comfort zone? Your college experience is what you make of it — find a place that will open doors and expand your opportunities.

Place on Campus:
Drexel’s Main Building is a personal favorite. The architecture, grand staircases, and Picture Gallery displays are magnificent, and it’s also home to our very own Drexel curator! If you’re looking for a reset, I highly recommend visiting the Bio Wall — North America’s largest living biofilter. At 80 feet tall and filled with vibrant tropical plants, it’s a great spot to refresh and recharge.
Restaurant/Food Truck:
You can’t go wrong with Drexel’s food trucks. I always gravitate toward any that serve breakfast all day. The Lenox truck behind the Main Building is a go-to for me — there’s nothing better than a great breakfast sandwich with a little hot sauce.
Philadelphia Landmark/Location:
Having performed at the Kimmel Center in high school and annually in college, I’ve come to appreciate it as one of Philly’s most impressive landmarks. Home to the distinguished Philadelphia Orchestra, its concert hall was designed to mimic the shape and acoustics of a cello — and it delivers. Whether you’re a music fan or just looking for a unique Philly experience, it’s worth a visit. Afterward, you can head to South Street for some good eats.
