I moved to Philadelphia from Central PA for college, and I’ve stayed ever since! It’s the amazing people I’ve met at Drexel, and Philadelphia, that have kept me here all these years. In my free time you can find me arranging flowers, playing my keyboard, or watching many, many movies.
What Advice Would you Give to a Student Considering Transferring?
Come visit! If you can swing it, it’s a great way to get a feel for the campus and incredible community we have here.
Favorites
Place on Campus:
The Summer Winter Community Garden. It’s a volunteer-based garden tucked away along the perimeter of campus. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, this is your place. It’s always fun to stop by and see what’s blooming, too.
Restaurant/Food Truck:
Dos Hermanos Taco Truck! There are very few problems a good taco cannot solve.
Philadelphia Landmark/Location:
Clark Park! I never get tired of coming here. It’s the perfect place to bring a blanket and a book and just soak in everything around you. With all the cute dogs running around, outdoor movie nights, and farmer’s market, there’s nothing not to love.
