About Me
Outside of work, I can always be found spending time with my family and friends, venturing out to new places and trying new things. I have learned to find beauty in everyday life and enjoy capturing those moments in pictures. While helping my 3 kids design their college plans, I realized that I love the college application and admissions process, and now I’m fortunate enough to have a job I love doing every day!
What advice would you give to a high school student applying to college?
I strongly recommend visiting the college to be sure it’s a great fit for you. You’ll know when it’s right and that’s such a great feeling!
Favorites
Place on Campus:
Main Building – the architecture is stunning. I also enjoy opportunities to be in the Integrated Sciences Building and see the biowall. The view of the city from the porch on Bentley Hall and the far side of the Buckley Green beach volleyball courts is absolutely stunning!
Restaurant/Food Truck:
Angelo’s Pizzeria in South Philadelphia – it’s where I fell in love with cheesesteaks! Their pizzas are amazing, too.
Philadelphia Landmark/Location:
I loved visiting Edgar Allen Poe’s house. I thoroughly enjoy reading his works, and then getting to visit his Philadelphia home to learn more about him helped put even more context to his writings. I also love coming into the city to see the holiday lights. South 13th Street has a fabulous display each year, as does Smedley Street, located near the stadiums.
