About Me
Growing up in a Philly suburb gave me an appreciation for the culture of Philadelphia. Throughout undergrad, I figured out that I love working with students and creatives. After I completed my bachelors at Penn State I found myself back in Philly to continue my work in student affairs. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Art Administration at Drexel!
Outside of work you can mostly find me at Clark Park or the Woodlands with my dog, camping with friends, in my stained glass studio, or wandering around Philly to find a new coffee shop!
What advice would you give to a student considering grad school?
Grad school really is the time to focus on what you want for your life and career. Really lean into your strengths and what makes you excited. Whether a career change is calling your name or taking the path you started to a higher ground, you can find the right program for you. Know that there is a program out there that is the right fit for you, you just have to find it. Be open to programs and colleges you otherwise would not have been. That could be where you discover new pathways to achieve your goals.
Do not underestimate the power of support from your family, newly found schoolmates, faculty, and advisors to help you in your degree work, and that you will need their support to succeed. Finally, many degrees/majors have aligned professional organizations that are great third party sources for information on the profession, employment, education/certification, critical challenges in your domain, funding, and professional onboarding options for people like you, who are considering education as a path to career enhancement or change.
