Graduate Fashion Design 2019 alum Shawnette Smalls believes inclusivity should be a major driver of the fashion industry. She designed her graduate sportswear collection for a variety of sizes and using a color palette attractive on a variety of skin tones. Her silhouettes are proportioned to enhance a diversity of body shapes. The Graduate Fashion Design program uses Clo 3D fashion design software to design directly on the virtual model on which the apparel can be viewed in 3D panorama. Through an auto-grading feature, the designer can visualize a fully inclusive collection.
