The Westphal College of Media Arts & Design offers seventeen undergraduate degree programs that prepare students to enter their fields as leaders in today’s rapidly changing creative industries. Our nationally and internationally recognized programs foster the study, exploration and management of the arts, media, design and performing arts fields in the context of a top-tier research university. We aim to create a community of creatives through our intensive studio curriculum taught by active professionals in the industry.

At Westphal, our philosophy is simple: students learn by doing. Students begin taking coursework specific to their program of interest during their first year of study. Utilizing our state-of-the-art resources and spaces, students have the ability to develop their own creative pursuits and passions. Westphal students produce high-quality creative work, films, EPs, video games, publications and events, and graduate with professional experience through the Drexel Co-op program.
