Shadi Dini is a Ph.D. candidate at Drexel University, School of Education. Prior to this position, she joined School of Education as a visiting faculty in 2015. She also has a Ph.D. degree in Applied Linguistics from University of Tehran. Her main areas of research are computational linguistics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), bilingualism, and TEFL/TESL education. In her current doctoral research, she is studying bilingualism in the interdisciplinary context of pragmatics and NLP, with a focus on pedagogical implications for foreign/second language education.
