Monica Blaisdell is a third-year PhD Candidate in Drexel's School of Education. Originally from Syracuse, NY, Monica holds B.A.'s in Philosophy, Politics and Law and Environmental Public Policy from Binghamton University and an M.S. in Environmental Science from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Her research interests include Education for Sustainable Development/Climate Change Education, Youth and Digital Activism, and Environmental Identity Development. She is particularly interested in how young people develop and sustain identities that motivate and empower them to lead active, sustainable lives.
