All hospitals and medical centers affiliated with Drexel University College of Medicine must comply with our brand identity guidelines when using the College of Medicine's name, logos and marks (hereinafter "marks"). The format and text of any such materials must be approved in advance by designated officials at the affiliated campus and the College of Medicine's Marketing & Communications Department.

Medical staff and personnel at the affiliate who are granted non-compensated faculty appointments by the College of Medicine may use the name and logos as permitted under the guidelines for non-compensated faculty.

Websites

The use of the College of Medicine name and logos is permitted for academic (non-clinical) purposes only.

Letterhead and Business Cards

Non-compensated faculty may order College of Medicine stationery to use for academic purposes only. The letterhead will include the following disclaimer:

"[Affiliate] is affiliated with Drexel University College of Medicine. The College of Medicine grants appointments to [Affiliate's] faculty for academic, teaching and research purposes only, and is not involved in patient treatment or care."

Business cards will carry this disclaimer:

"This physician's clinical practice is independent of Drexel University College of Medicine.

Lab Coats for Faculty and Residents

Affiliated hospitals and health systems may provide an approved College of Medicine logo for lab coats of College faculty and residents. Contact the Marketing & Communications Department for a high resolution version of the logo.

Academic and Scholarly Publications

Affiliates are welcome to use the College of Medicine logo in this medium.

Prohibited Use

The following are instances where the use of College of Medicine marks is prohibited:

• Prescription pads
• Appointment cards
• Patient handouts
