Colleague Resource Groups

Colleague Resource Groups promote the mission of Drexel University and raise awareness and understanding of issues that are important to traditionally underrepresented groups and their allies. Colleague Resource Groups are open to all faculty and professional staff members.

Black Employees at Drexel (BEAD)

Fostering a sense of community through support and engagement by serving as a united voice to represent the needs of the Black community at Drexel University; cultivating an open atmosphere of collaboration, dialogue and engagement within Drexel University's Black community; encouraging professional achievement, scholarship and research opportunities among Black faculty, professional staff and students; and creating and advertising social and educational opportunities to strengthen the University's knowledge regarding cultural awareness; cultivate a community of social responsibility; and improve outcomes within our university community. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Allies + (LGBTQA+) Professional Staff Network

The Drexel University Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Allies+ Colleague Resource Group is a visible association of employees who work together to promote the interests of our diverse community. We foster a campus climate that is welcoming, inclusive and safe for all at the University. We recognize the broad range of issues and concerns related to sex, sexual orientation, gender and gender identity and expression. The Veterans Colleague Resource Group members will identify challenges and opportunities of the veteran employee to gain self-awareness to increase skill and experience within the University to grow in career development, and to facilitate the mission of Drexel University.
