Prior to joining ELAM, Brian worked for Drexel University first as financial administrator for the LeBow College of Business, then as senior financial analyst for Drexel Libraries. In these roles he was responsible for financial reporting, communicating with deans and other department administrators, and maintaining strong financial record keeping.

He brings to ELAM an enthusiasm for process improvement and working towards the mission of sustaining and increasing the number and impact of women in academic leadership positions in the health professions.

The Institute continues the legacy of advancing women in medicine that began in 1850 with the founding of the Female Medical College of Pennsylvania, the nation's first women's medical school and a predecessor of today's Drexel University College of Medicine.
