Inclusive Medical Education
The College of Medicine is committed to producing a population of physicians who are comprehensively and culturally responsive to care for populations of varied social, economic, ethnic backgrounds. Working cooperatively, the staff of the Office of Student Affairs staff and the Office of Community Health and Inclusive Excellence staff provide personal and academic support and resources that empower all students to thrive. Through these efforts, the College of Medicine has become a historical leader training a medical workforce that reflects the communities it serves.
In accordance with this institution's historic commitment, women, students interested in careers as generalist physicians, Pennsylvania residents, and those who come from populations underrepresented in medicine are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
