Physician Refresher/Re-entry Program Courses

Drexel Medicine's Physician Refresher/Re-entry program offers a range of courses for physicians intending to gain relicensure and return to active clinical practice, wishing to enhance their focus or area of interest, or preparing for admission to U.S. graduate medical education training programs.

Our courses utilize the College's excellence in medical education and instructional technology resources. The courses include onsite and distance-learning modules, which may be taken in sequence or independently on a flexible schedule to meet your needs. They provide intense learning environments led by university clinical educators for updating medical knowledge and practicing clinical reasoning and communication skills in order to rebuild physicians’ confidence for practice.

We offer career advice and encourage physicians to learn together and build a network for future learning and collaboration.

Perhaps the greatest strength of the experience is the exceptionally supportive environment that the program creates for the learner. The faculty, the administrative team and the fellow learners are invested in the success of each participant. You are learning from each other and also helping each other along the way, under the guidance of a team that is invested in your progress. It is enormously helpful.
