Chestnut Hill Hospital is a fully accredited, 148-bed community teaching hospital serving northwest Philadelphia and the adjacent suburbs of eastern Montgomery County. Drexel University College of Medicine/Tower Health Family Medicine Residency Program thrives in this academic environment composed of more than 300 medical and dental professionals representing every major specialty and subspecialty. More than 30 practicing family physicians are on staff at the hospital.
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children was founded in 1875 when it opened as a one-room dispensary for the mill workers' children of the Kensington area of Philadelphia. Today St. Christopher's is a 189-bed hospital providing cutting-edge medical services to children across the Greater Philadelphia area and has been at the forefront of many areas of pediatric medicine.
The Drexel Student Health Center (DSHC) is staffed with faculty physicians and nurse practitioners from the Drexel University College of Medicine Department of Family and Community Medicine. The Drexel Student Health Center provides a range of health services in a confidential environment.
