Family Medicine Residency How to Apply

Application

Applications are accepted through ERAS (NRMP program number: 2225120C0, ACGME program number:1204100712).

Selection Process

Family Medicine Residency program applications are accepted through ERAS. Applicants must provide letters from at least three physicians with whom they have worked in the clinical setting in addition to the ERAS application, dean's letter and USMLE or COMLEX scores. There is no set USMLE/COMLEX score cut-off; applicants should have graduated from medical school within the last five years. The program director and faculty review applications. Interviews are scheduled by invitation from October through January.

Interviews

The interview day provides the candidates with the opportunity to meet with the program director, Family Medicine Residency faculty and residents of the program virtually through zoom. An opportunity to meet and talk with many residents from the program will be provided during an informal virtual meet and greet either before or after interviews.

Visas

A candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States in order to be appointed/employed in our institution. We do accept candidates who require non-employer sponsored visas, such as the J1. If you currently, or in the future, require employer sponsorship for a visa status, you must communicate this during the interview process.
