The Kline School of Law moot court board would like to congratulate the following students who have been extended an offer to join the board:

    • Dylan Beltrami
    • Siqi Cheng
    • Samantha Componovo
    • Jailene Cruz
    • Corey Fedorowich
    • Hunter Gajewski
    • Kaleigh Gillen
    • Madi Lee
    • Daniel Levy
    • Ali Long
    • Jack Melloy
    • Madison Mull
    • Dominic Mussoline
    • Kevin Ricard
    • Talia Scicchitano
    • Matthew Soliman

The board, coaches, and judges were impressed by the briefs and oral arguments, it was a highly competitive group. Unfortunately we could not take all the students who tried out, and we encourage any 2Ls who did not make the board to try out again next year.

Special recognition goes to our top 3 briefs and top 3 oral advocates who are:

    • Best brief: Kaleigh Gillen
    • Second place brief: Madison Mull
    • Third place brief: Jack Melloy

    • Best advocate in the preliminary rounds: Kevin Richard
    • Second place advocate: Talia Scicchitano
    • Third place advocate: Daniel Levy

Students advancing to the semifinals on August 13 are:

    • Daniel Levy
    • Jack Melloy
    • Madison Mull
    • Talia Scicchitano

Madison Mull will be petitioner against Jack Melloy as respondent. These two competitors met in the preliminary rounds and therefore are side locked on the sides they did not previously argue against each other. Daniel Levy will argue against Talia Scicchitano. These two competitors will need to flip a coin for sides because they have not previously met. Talia Scicchitano will call the coin toss. These four students should expect to hear additional details in the coming days about the semifinal round, which we hope to hold in person at the law school.

The final round will be August 16 in the afternoon, as part of 1L orientation. Details to follow. All are invited to join.
