Overview of Service

Ally is a tool that allows faculty to see feedback about the accessibility of course content, as well as provide descriptions and instructions regarding issues and remediation, all within Drexel Learn. It also provides students with alternate formats for certain content types, like audio files for text-based documents.

Getting Started

At this time, faculty can request to have Ally activated for their course by e-mailing the Instructional Technology Group at itg@drexel.edu.

Additional Information

Once activated, faculty will begin to see colored gauges to the left of content that has been scanned by the system. Clicking on these gauges will inform faculty of any issues with the content, why accessibility for the file is important, and how to improve accessibility.
