Camtasia is an application that facilitates the capture, editing, and production of multimedia for online delivery, especially for content delivered in Drexel Learn. This software is available for Windows and MacOS computers. There are slight differences in the features available between the two platforms, but the core functionality and user interface are very similar.

• Capture PowerPoint presentations with a click
• Record whatever you see on your screen
• Highlight Web site/application interaction
• Emphasize and elaborate with callouts
• Measure retention using embedded questions and SCORM-compliant LMS (e.g.: Drexel Learn)
• Make content accessible with closed captioning

The Instructional Technology Group of Drexel IT holds a limited number of licenses and requires that online training be completed before licensed installation.

Anyone may take advantage of our online Camtasia training at any time. However, only Drexel faculty and staff are eligible for a product license.
