Changes for Windows Users
Outlook 2016
Outlook 2016 is the only Outlook version that supports Multi‐Factor Authentication. If you have a Drexel‐owned machine you can install it by going to Software Center. For personally owned devices, install the latest Office version (for free) by going to https://portal.office.com and sign in your Drexel account.
Set Up Microsoft Authenticator App
Once installed, you will be prompted to authenticate the app with your account:
- Enter your Drexel password, select Sign in, then select Set it up now.

- Select Mobile app. Next, launch the Authenticator App on your phone, tap the +, and then SCAN the QR code in the Verify dialog box. Select Receive a notification on my phone, then select Next.

Set Up an Alternate Method of Authentication
- As an alternate method of authentication, select your country and enter your phone number, then select Next. Check the box to Allow my organization to manage my device, then select Yes.

- Enter your Drexel password, then select Sign in. Select Next, and follow the remaining steps on your phone.
