Employee Assistance Program
In order to support the Drexel community with best-in-class resources to help navigate stress, anxiety and depression, Drexel partners with Health Advocate as its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider. The EAP is designed to help you address the challenges that life, work and relationships can bring. You can access confidential, 24/7 counseling with a licensed professional in person or virtually.
In-person and virtual counseling for short-term issues are available for up to six sessions per person, per issue, per year.
The Health Advocate EAP is offered to full-time and part-time benefits-eligible faculty and professional staff at no cost as part of Drexel's employee benefits package. Employees’ spouse/partners, dependents, parents and parents-in-law are also encouraged to access this benefit at no additional cost.
Health Advocate your one-stop-shop for well-being, as it can also help you and your family with issues related to health advocacy, such as billing or claims questions, or even finding a doctor. Health Advocate’s new Generations program for caregivers also offers support and assistance for employees who are caregivers for someone who is elderly or has a disability. In addition, Health Advocate provides Drexel's award-winning Wellness Incentive Program.
