A Healthier U invites you to a Financial Fitness event about Identity Theft.  Identity theft continues to be one of the fastest growing crimes in the United States and has been ranked as one of the top consumer concerns. This Healthier U Financial Fitness workshop will cover key points related to Identity Theft.

 

This event will provide you with information on how to protect yourself and your personal information from being stolen, when and where most information is stolen, how the information is used, how you can prevent identity theft, and what to do if you discover your information has been stolen.

 

By the end of the seminar, participants will understand:

 

•             Definition of identity theft

•             Demographics of identity theft

•             Impact of identity theft

•             Signs that you are a victim

•             What to do if you become a victim

•             Ways to protect yourself and reduce your exposure
