Setting Goals with Purpose

Thursday, April 23, 2026

5:00 PM-6:00 PM

It's important to set goals, or at least have a general direction in mind, to move productively from point to point in our lives. However, sometimes we set a goal for ourselves and work and struggle to achieve it and then think, "Great! Now what?"

Achieving goals, whether personal or professional, should consist of more than simply checking a box. What if there were an alternative way to approach goal planning that would help in not only defining and achieving a specific goal, but also creating space for multiple aims that support your purpose?

In this workshop, Kathy Choy, Assistant Director of Talent Development in Drexel Human Resources, will provide tools to help you describe the purpose behind your goals, offer guidance for identifying how specific actions support that purpose, and dig into ways to plot a course to get you closer to your purpose.
