Tuesday, April 7, 2026
12:30 PM-1:30 PM
An international research experience can be an enriching and exciting part of your graduate education. This session will discuss several fellowships that facilitate international research experiences for graduate students, including research completed for thesis credit or in supplement to your studies.
The programs discussed will include the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, the Boren Fellowship, ThinkSwiss, DAAD RISEPro. We will also discuss several internal awards through Drexel, including the Banu Onaral Global Innovation Partnerships Fellowship, through which any Drexel graduate student (including BS-MS students) can apply for funding to conduct international research related to biomedical engineering.
We will also be joined by Samuel Sung, 2025-26 Fulbright US Student Program Recipient to Germany and inaugural recipient of the GIP Fellowship, to discuss his experience with the application processes and conducting doctoral research in Germany.
Register on Zoom to attendInterested, but unable to join just live? Register anyway, to be included in follow-up and receive a copy of the slides and notes from the session.
