  • Pick up your computer accounts

Visit Drexel's Information Technology (IT) New Accounts page to pick up your accounts as soon as possible.

  • Submit required materials for your provisional admission (for students admitted provisionally to the University)
If you were admitted provisionally to the University, you must submit the required materials two weeks prior to the beginning of the term. Review the provision on your admission in your online admission letter on the Discover Drexel Portal.

Financial Aid & Billing

  • Review financial aid and billing information
There are important steps and planning you and your family should complete in order to ensure you are financially ready for the beginning of the year. Visit the New Student Financial Checklist page to learn more.
  • Complete the CSS Profile and FAFSA
If you have not already done so, be sure to complete the CSS Profile, using Drexel's school code (2194). You should submit the CSS Profile one month prior to the start of your first term. Students starting in the spring should submit the CSS Profile prior to February 15, the date the CSS Profile closes. U.S. citizens and permanent residents should also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), using Drexel's school code (003256). You should reapply every year by February 15.
  • Notify Drexel Central
If there are any changes in your enrollment status, you must notify Drexel Central. A change in enrollment status could affect your financial aid or merit award. Use AskDrexel to report this information.
  • Review outstanding financial aid requirements
Confirmed and continuing students can check their status on DrexelOne. Drexel Central will send email notifications to your Drexel address when you have requirements that need to be completed. New student loans will not be disbursed from the lender to Drexel until the promissory note has been signed and all requirements are completed.
  • Determine billing authorized user access
You can provide eBill access to your parents, guardians, and anyone else you wish to be an authorized user. Set up an authorized user.
  • Sign up for eRefunds
Sign up for direct deposit to receive refunds from your student accounts into the bank account of your choice. View more information about eRefunds and sign up.
  • Review the Family Education Rights Privacy Act (FERPA) Policy
FERPA protects your student record and personal information. Learn about what FERPA means for you, and how your family can access your information once you start via the Drexel University Family Portal.
  • Ensure your eBill is paid
Review the first eBill you were sent to determine if you have a balance due and learn more about the various methods of payment in the New Student Financial Checklist page.

  • Complete the Housing and Residence Life (HRL) and Dining Agreement
If you are interested in on-campus housing, you must submit a $200 housing deposit and then the housing application. Transfer housing is assigned first-come, first-served and is filled on a rolling basis. After you receive your housing assignment, please confirm your move-in date with Housing and Residence Life. For students interested in our dining plans, these can be added to your account through DrexelOne.
