Center City Campus Facilities Services

Once you have followed the step-by-step instructions to make a reservation, contact Facilities Services to coordinate event support. These services are available during regular business hours (i.e. Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.); however, after-hour support can be scheduled if requested ten business days in advance of the event. Facilities Services can assist in providing guidance to event coordinator so that he/she may arrange services directly with providers for the following services: catering, audio visual, parking, transportation, and schedule onsite event management.

By request, Facilities Services can schedule the following services:

  • Housekeeping
Housekeeping services for cleaning of event space before, during and after event can be coordinated through Facilities Services at least 10 business days in advance of event. To provide all users with a clean environment, please notify Facilities Services about any food service on campus and kindly dispose of any trash following event.
  • Setup and Room Arrangement
Special setups deviating from the standard should be scheduled through Facilities Services at least 10 business days in advance of event. Ideally, when making initial reservation request, event coordinators should request alternate setup and necessary cushion time. As requested, Facilities Services can also provide additional furniture such as 6ft tables, chairs, staging, podium, etc. Please be advised that all alternate setups require approval from Event Services, due to event spaces doubling as classrooms.
  • Event Equipment/Furniture Rental From Outside Vendors
If the event coordinator requires any equipment/furniture not owned by the University, additional rentals may be ordered through Facilities Services using pre-approved vendors. Rental costs will be charged to the event coordinator through Facilities Services.
  • Public Safety Event Notification and Support
As all University campuses strive to operate secure buildings, event coordinators are required to notify Facilities Services about any deliveries and non-Drexel guests entering the building. This process will help ensure that Public Safety is notified to allow for a smooth event experience.
  • Parking: Drexel does not own or operate parking facilities or lots around the Center City Campus. The following public parking facilities are conveniently located near the campus:

Rates for Facilities Services

Facilities Services will provide a Confirmation and Estimate listing the approximate number of hours and any applicable charges. Services are confirmed once a funding source is provided. Following the event, an invoice based on the actual time and cost of services provided, will be submitted to event coordinator and Health Sciences Campus Operations Billing.
