Hosting an Event at the Health Sciences Campuses
Events hosted on the Queen Lane Campus and Center City Campus are supported by Facilities Services staff in the Health Sciences Campus Operations department. At this time, events on the Queen Lane and Center City campuses may only be booked by Drexel University departments and student organizations. As there is no space designated on either campus solely for event use, all classroom scheduling for events is secondary to the academic calendar.
Facilities Services staff at the Queen Lane Campus acts as the liaison in assisting the event coordinator representing the event’s sponsoring organization for both the Center City and Queen Lane campuses. Facilities Services staff can guide the event coordinator through the planning process, including scheduling housekeeping, setup/room arrangement, equipment/furniture rental, and public safety notification. The event coordinator is responsible for making their own reservation in our scheduling system, and for arranging services directly with providers such as onsite event management, catering, audio visual, parking, and transportation.
