Chemical Hygiene Plan

Drexel University is committed to providing a safe working environment and believes employees have a right to know about health hazards associated with their work. This Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) introduces policies, procedures and responsibilities designed to develop in employees an awareness of potentially hazardous chemicals in the work place as well as the need to maintain appropriate and safe working areas and conditions.  It is designed to assist employees in making knowledgeable decisions about any personal risks associated with employment at this institution. The plan contains the following important information:

A copy of the CHP must be located in a visible area of each laboratory and be familiarized by all lab personnel.
