In its ongoing mission to broaden its audience and bolster its patrons’ enjoyment, Opera Philadelphia is rolling out an online course in the lead-up to its next major production. Experts from Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania created the framework and curriculum as a primer for Opera Philadelphia’s east coast premiere of Jennifer Higdon and Gene Scheer’s Cold Mountain, which opens on Feb. 5 at the Academy of Music.

right? Now imagine designing, engineering, manufacturing, marketing a prototype of

Drexel is ranked 24th in the nation in the “Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs,” up 5 places from the previous year. These are the highest rankings ever received for the College of Engineering’s online graduate programs and mark the 4th consecutive year that the online graduate programs have been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as among the best in the country.

The Grand Challenges are a call to action that draw attention to opportunities that will improve the quality of life globally.
